It is always difficult to see great people leave - three SAT Labbers are moving on to new challenges in August. Mengxue will keep working with us on her Research Assistant ocean agriculture project and at the same time start her Masters in Norway on Industrial Ecology. Your happy and friendly personality will be dearly missed in the lab! Xuanyi will also keep working on her visiting student project together with Juan to understand the impact of smallholder and industrial agriculture on protected areas. She will start her Masters in Business Management. Han will move on to new adventures after doing a great job helping to set up our field experiments for the new season. We wish all of you the very best for the future and please come by if you are in town!
At the same time, we are excited that Guanyan decided to join the lab. She will be working with Siyuan on pollution effects on pollinators and help coordinate the field experiment. A very warm welcome to you!!!
