Westlake University launched an inspiring and free(!) pre-college summer camp for international students from the US, South Korea, and China to see what makes our university so special and to experience China first hand.
We contributed quite a bit to this summer camp and received very positive feedback. After an introduction to our lab and the work from Tom, Ving organized a fantastic field program at the future village, where we deploy our embedded vision cameras to monitor bats and rice pests. Sheng Dong did an amazing job in introducing the project and Marcel got the students excited about the technical part of the work.
Great teamwork that is very well reflected in this nice video produced by Westlake University.
