Another major news from the SAT lab: after visiting rice sites across China in 2020, meeting with many collaborators and proposing the idea for the first time in December 2019, we launched the China Rice Network on the 26th of March.
After agreeing on our goals, structures, and how to fund our long term ideas, it was exciting to discuss our first projects proposed by SAT lab's Dr. Xueqing He & Prof. Haiyan Cen from Zhejiang University, China. The projects will involve our site network across China, machine-learning based monitoring devices developed in the SAT Lab by Dr. Kevin Darras and fancy sensor tech developed in Haiyan's group.
