Westlake University has joined the Global Environmental Measuring and Monitoring (GEMM) initiative, a partnership between Optica (formerly OSA), Advancing Optics and Photonics Worldwide and the American Geophysical Union (AGU) and a network of scientists, practitioners, and policy stakeholders to collaborate on issues on the environment and climate. At Westlake University, Prof. Ling Li and our group are leading this collaboration and the development of a new monitoring network in Hangzhou Bay, a key economic development hub in China.
We are very excited to warmly welcome Dr. Yebei Li as a PostDoc to our team, jointly hosted by Prof. Ling Li's Environmental Hydrology lab and our group. Yebei will develop the environmental monitoring initiative in collaboration with the Global Environmental Measuring and Monitoring initiative in Hangzhou Bay.
